MONROVIA, Calif., April 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- STAAR Surgical Company (NASDAQ: STAA) a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of implantable lenses and companion delivery systems for the eye, announced today that Steve Brown has resigned his position as Chief Financial Officer effective April 28, 2017.  Deborah Andrews, currently Chief Accounting Officer, will step in as Interim CFO.  Deborah was formerly CFO of STAAR from 2005 to 2013.
